Contract | Travel | 12 Weeks | Primarily Night Shifts (some Day Shifts available)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of patient care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current STABLE certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery specialty
• Demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced obstetrical care environment
