Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across the full LDRP continuum, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum units
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate monitoring in accordance with AWHONN Intermediate/Advanced standards
• Administer neonatal resuscitation as needed in accordance with NRP certification requirements
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to other units within the facility as needed based on census and staffing demands
• Meet weekend commitment of 4 days per 4-week scheduling period

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
• FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery / LDRP; first-time travelers may be considered depending on experience
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Time-off requests of 7 days or fewer are preferred; requests exceeding 7 days or covering holidays will require additional review and approval
• 1 supervisory reference required for submission
• Candidates with a single DUI on record may be considered provided the incident occurred more than one year prior to the assignment start date
