Contract | Full-Time | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | 36–48 Hours/Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum settings according to established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff across the unit
Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
Provide care in a Level 2 NICU environment as required for day shift assignments
Monitor fetal status using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques and respond appropriately to findings
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Demonstrated Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Level 2 NICU experience required for day shift
Preferred Experience / Skills
Postpartum nursing experience
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Acute care facility background
Intermediate fetal monitoring proficiency
