Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

South Weymouth, Massachusetts
Schedule / Job Type
Contract, Full-Time, Onsite, Rotating Night Shift — Schedule consists of two 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and two 8-hour shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) per week
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care within a Birthing Unit setting
Monitor and assess laboring patients using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)
Perform and assist with circulating duties during labor and delivery procedures
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support maternal and newborn outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Circulating experience required
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current NRP certification
Recent EFM certification — intermediate level or higher required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics (ALSO) certification
Perinatal NCC Certification (Maternal Newborn Nursing - Level I, Postpartum, or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing - Labor and Birth)
First Latch breastfeeding certification
