Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

White Plains, NY

Contract | Day Shift | Onsite

• Provide direct nursing care to high-risk OB patients including magnesium patients and C-section patients within the Labor and Delivery unit
• Perform independent patient exams and full assessments in accordance with unit protocols
• Chart and document accurately across two EMR systems (Meditech and GE)
• Operate within AWHONN staffing ratios and collaborate with scrub techs, charge nurses, and unit leaders
• Float to OB or nursery as needed for task-based support without assuming a patient assignment
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active RN licensure
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• High-risk OB experience required
• Ability to work every 3rd weekend (3 weekend shifts per 4-week period)

• RNC (Inpatient Obstetric Nursing) certification preferred
• Experience charting in Meditech and/or GE clinical systems
• Familiarity with a variety of Labor and Delivery patient assignments including antepartum and intrapartum care

• Work in a well-supported unit with 24/7 Respiratory Therapy and Pharmacy, in-house hospitalist coverage, and a structured charge nurse and unit leader model
• Scrubs are provided, and a brief unit-specific orientation is offered to set you up for success
