Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit following AWHONN staffing standards, with potential simple med/surg overflow as needed
Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections performed on the unit
Monitor and assess fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring equipment (GE Centricity/Meditech)
Care for postpartum and OB/GYN patients with patient ratios up to 6:1 (typically 3–4:1)
Participate in minimal on-call requirements and float within the unit for low-census situations
Collaborate as a team player within a Joint Commission Accredited facility offering a full range of women's health services
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Current BLS certification
Current NRP certification
Current ACLS certification
Fetal monitoring class completed within the past 2 years
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience circulating in the OR for Labor & Delivery/cesarean sections
Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system
Experience with OB/GYN and postpartum patient populations
