Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit, including triage and recovery, following AWHONN standards for patient ratios
Circulate in the on-unit OR for cesarean sections
Care for postpartum and OB/GYN patients, including simple med/surg overflow (orthopedic patients) as needed
Manage fetal monitoring and respond to obstetric emergencies in accordance with unit protocols
Participate in rotating weekend coverage (every other weekend) and fulfill minimal on-call requirements
Float within the unit for low-census coverage as directed (L/D to sit or task; PP rotates for low census)
Required Qualifications
Active RN license
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience (for L/D RN role)
BLS certification required
NRP certification required
ACLS certification required
Fetal monitoring class completion within the past 2 years required
Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience circulating in an OR for Labor & Delivery/cesarean sections
Familiarity with GE Centricity and/or Meditech electronic health record systems
Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
