Registered Nurse - LDRP
Location: Polson, MT

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating nights, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), includes weekends evenly distributed; night shift with on-call (max once per pay period)
Hours per Week: 36
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum (LDRP) nursing care for neonates, infants and adults
- Perform sterile vaginal exams and assist with labor management and interventions
- Circulate for C-sections and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe outcomes
- Triage obstetrical patients and make timely, confident clinical decisions
- Deliver newborn and neonatal care, including initial assessments and stabilization
- Document care accurately and thoroughly in Epic to support continuity and safety
- Answer unit communications and assist with IV starts and other cross-unit support as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation and float to support staffing needs across units

- Labor & Delivery and LDRP clinical skills
- Antepartum care and triage of obstetrical patients
- Sterile vaginal exam technique
- Circulating for C-section and operating in perioperative OB settings
- Neonatal/newborn care and stabilization
- Epic electronic charting proficiency
- Wireless fetal monitoring and postpartum hemorrhage tools (JADA device)
- IV starts, unit phone triage, and strong interdisciplinary communication
