Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Full-Time (Schedule to be discussed during interview)
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP RN) to join a busy Obstetrics department providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the postpartum period.
Job Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
Perform OB triage assessments and Non-Stress Tests (NSTs)
Serve as the second nurse during deliveries
Manage postpartum and overflow patients as needed
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
Support patients experiencing pregnancy, labor, delivery, or postpartum complications
Collaborate with OB physicians, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, breastfeeding, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care

✔ Active RN License
✔ Recent Labor & Delivery (L&D/LDRP) experience
✔ Must be labor-trained
✔ Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
✔ Current STABLE Certification
✔ Intermediate (or higher) Fetal Monitoring Certification
✔ BLS Certification (AHA preferred)
