Job description:

The LDRP team offers labor, delivery and recovery including post partum and newborn care by a highly trained team of nurses and medical staff in a family centered caring and medically safe environment. All sites are trained in GYN surgical care, while AGH practices pediatrics as well.

General Requirements(Requirements may vary by facility and location)

• Active RN License (state-specific) or Compact RN License where accepted
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required for select positions
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – required for select positions
• STABLE Certification – required for select positions
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification – required for select positions
• NIHSS – required for select positions (e.g., OR Float Pool)
• PALS – preferred or required for select positions
• Epic EMR proficiency – required for select positions
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher (BSN/Master's required for leadership roles)
• Labor-trained experience – required for select positions
• Minimum 1–3 years of Labor & Delivery/LDRP experience (varies by facility)
• Leadership experience may be required for management/director roles
• Strong assessment, communication, critical thinking, maternal/newborn care, and patient education skills
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and float between units/facilities as needed
