The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgment. Leadership is required in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care. Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education is essential. The nurse will delegate patient care priorities according to the education and experience of the available staff. Direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care is expected. Patient ratios are 1:6.
