Description:
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care.
The nurse utilizes the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership are demonstrated in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care.
Maintaining clinical competencies is essential and achieved through continuing education.
Patient care priorities are delegated based on the education and experience of the staff available.
The nurse provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel in delivering patient care.
