RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum Two (2) Years Bedside Clinical Experience Preferred
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced LTAC environment
• Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and high-quality care

LTAC Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Monitor patient progress and communicate status updates to the interdisciplinary care team
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Support discharge planning and patient and family education from admission through discharge
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise and guide LPNs, CNAs, and other ancillary staff as needed
• Promote a safe, efficient, and encouraging environment for patients and coworkers
• Assist with charge responsibilities after orientation, when requested
