Job Requirements

• 2 years of recent Tele/LTAC experience in a hospital setting
• Current Texas RN license or compact multi-state RN license
• Active ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently on night shift
• Ability to provide safe, patient-centered care in a high-acuity long-term acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in an LTAC/telemetry environment
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond quickly to evolving clinical needs
• Develop and carry out nursing care plans using the nursing process
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Delegate and supervise assigned personnel according to experience and scope of practice
• Maintain clinical competency through ongoing learning and professional development
• Document care accurately and support continuity of care across the shift
