Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 2+ years of current LTAC experience required License: Active KY or compact nursing license required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - 2 years of LTAC experience required - Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, or ICU experience preferred Description: The role requires a registered nurse with more than two years of current long-term acute care experience. Candidates will be working with a 1:4 patient ratio. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred. Certifications in AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH are required. Every other weekend is mandatory. Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated. The traveler must reside within 75 miles of the facility to be considered. A driver’s license is necessary for all submissions. Candidates must have experience in managing various patient conditions, including but not limited to: - ARDS - Chronic and Acute Renal failure - Infection prevention - Titration of Insulin drips - Management of dysrhythmias - Complex wound care - Tube feedings - Tracheostomy care - Various ventilation modes The candidate must be able to work either a major or minor holiday. References from previous supervisors and charge nurses are required. Additional requirements include background compliance checks and completion of necessary certifications. Travel pairs are accepted minimally and will not be on the same shift or unit. This position is a travel role requiring flexibility and adaptability in a demanding healthcare environment.
