Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN - Unit Manager for a travel contract assignment. The RN Unit Manager will oversee daily clinical operations, supervise nursing staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and promote compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

This leadership role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with strong clinical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Coordinate daily unit operations and staffing assignments.
  • Monitor patient care plans and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for nursing personnel.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection prevention efforts.
  • Respond to on-call responsibilities and weekend coverage as needed.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Previous leadership or charge nurse experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or acute care preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Assignment Details

  • Contract Length: 7 Weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Weekly
  • Schedule: Monday Friday (On-call required; weekends as needed)

Compensation

Pay Rate:$53.40 $62.30 per hour
