Registered Nurse (RN) - LTAC MS/Tele

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in LTAC Medical-Surgical/Telemetry to join our team for night shifts. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment, specifically for patients requiring long-term acute care. This position offers 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with weekends supported by a rotating call schedule among staff members.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a long-term acute care setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and responding appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in patient care planning, discharge planning, and coordination of care.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing role required.
• Prior experience in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting preferred.
• Neuroscience experience is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Shift Details

• 4x12-Hour Night Shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• No block scheduling.
• Call rotation among 6 to 8 staff members after 5 PM on weekdays and on weekends.

Contract Length

Options for contract length range from 13 to 26 weeks.
