Job Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a local travel assignment within a long-term care / rehabilitation setting. This role involves providing direct patient care, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, and supporting overall resident health and recovery during extended daytime shifts.

The RN will work as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team, ensuring high standards of patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality care delivery within a structured facility environment.


Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients and residents during scheduled shifts
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to appropriate clinical leadership
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Support care plan implementation and ongoing patient assessment
Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
Support patient comfort, recovery, and quality of life
Communicate effectively with facility leadership and healthcare staff
Ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards

Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of New Mexico or compact license eligible where applicable)
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
Current CPR/BLS certification required
