Job Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a local travel assignment within a long-term care setting. This role is responsible for providing direct patient care, administering treatments, and overseeing resident health and safety during extended daytime shifts.
The position requires strong clinical judgment, independence, and the ability to support coordinated care delivery across a structured nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents during scheduled shifts
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Support care plan implementation and patient safety protocols
Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs as needed
Ensure infection control and regulatory compliance standards are met
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Promote resident safety, comfort, and quality of care
Communicate effectively with nursing leadership and staff
Job Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of New Mexico or compact/eligible where applicable)
Associate or Bachelor s degree in Nursing
Previous long-term care or acute care experience preferred
