Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a local contract assignment in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, oversee nursing services, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions safely and accurately.
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to physicians and healthcare providers.
• Supervise and collaborate with CNAs and other support staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Promote a patient-centered approach to care and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
• Current BLS Certification preferred.
• Previous long-term care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or sub-acute experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
