Schedule: 36 hours per week, Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), Every other weekend required. 13-week contract available.

Highlights:

• Low-acuity geriatric and skilled nursing environment with a focus on long-term care and rehabilitation
• Patient ratios of 1:20 from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM, then 1:40 from 11:00 PM onward due to low acuity level
• PointClickCare charting system (experience required)
• Minimal IV management; primarily medication administration, blood glucose monitoring, and routine assessments
• 24-hour orientation with structured onboarding and supportive interdisciplinary team
• No call or float requirements; stable and predictable schedule

Requirements:

• Current RN license (North Carolina or Compact State license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience required
• Experience with PointClickCare documentation system required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• First-time travelers accepted if they have skilled nursing experience
• Competency in medication administration (oral, IM, SQ, rectal, inhaled, eye drops, IV), wound care, catheter insertion and care, feeding tube management, blood glucose monitoring, fall prevention, infection control, and geriatric assessments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous charge nurse experience
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation center background
• Community hospital, teaching hospital, or trauma center experience
• Experience with specialized equipment such as wound VACs, central lines (PICC), tracheostomy care, and BiPAP/CPAP management
• Familiarity with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, memory care, stroke, spinal cord injury, and end-of-life/palliative care

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Pre-approved time off: Up to 7 days (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• No additional time off requests allowed after contract signing
