Travel Nurse RN - Long-Term Care - $1,987 per week in Smithfield, VA

This position involves working in a small unit with a total of 34 beds. The unit currently averages approximately 15 skilled and 15 private pay patients. The patient population primarily consists of geriatrics with various diagnoses including CHF, dementia, and general weakness. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Specialties may require you to float based on the needs of the facility. Weekend coverage may be required. Candidates must have previous charge experience preferred. Candidates should keep requests for time off to a minimum during assignments. All candidates are required to have current certifications through the American Heart Association. Education on NIH and stroke is mandatory for RNs. Only those with recent specialty experience will be considered.
