Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment with a reputable healthcare system in Danbury, North Carolina.
Assignment Details
Location: Danbury, NC
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Estimated Weekly Pay: Up to $2,002/week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call: None
Floating: None
First-Time Travelers: Accepted with appropriate skilled nursing experience
Local Candidates: Accepted
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience
LTAC experience required
Nursing home/skilled nursing experience
PointClickCare experience required
BLS
Current RN license eligible to practice in North Carolina
Experience caring for geriatric patients
Medication administration and IV therapy
Blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration
Foley catheter and incontinence management
Feeding tube/G-tube and ostomy care
Wound and skin care
Oxygen therapy and respiratory assessment
Fall prevention, infection control and emergency protocols
Preferred: Skilled rehabilitation, dementia/memory care, PICC/central-line care, wound VAC, tracheostomy, stroke/CVA, orthopedic and charge nurse experience.
Unit Highlights
40-bed skilled nursing unit
Average daily census: approximately 36
Geriatric patient population
Night/weekend RN ratio: approximately 1:40
Two CNAs on the unit
Two nurses from 7 PM–11 PM; staffing may decrease to one nurse after 11 PM
On-call physician available after hours
Every-other-weekend requirement
PointClickCare documentation
24 hours of unit orientation
Navy blue scrubs
No call or floating required
