Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN - Long Term Care Specialty: RN - Long Term Care Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Preferred Acute care facility experience License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required. Certifications: - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required. - AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification is required. Must-Have: Recent EPIC experience Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Employs independent judgment in delivering care. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain desired outcomes. Implements the plan and coordinates care delivery. Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in delivering care. Provides learning opportunities for patients and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment teams. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
