The position involves medication administration, wound care, Foley care, and ostomy care. Supervision of CNAs and TMAs is required. The facility is a nursing home with a capacity of 38 residents. Private rooms are available. The electronic medical record system used is Point Click Care. Staffing ratios vary by shift. During day and evening shifts, the ratio is 1 nurse to 2-3 CNAs and 20 residents. During night shifts, it is 1 nurse to 2-3 CNAs and 40 residents. Common diagnoses include COPD, dementia, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and congestive heart failure. The facility is equipped with an on-site pharmacy. Block scheduling is available based on need. Weekend and holiday work is required every other. No call or standby requirements are associated with this position. Scrub colors and dress code are provided. Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of the facility. All candidates must have created an account to comply with submission requirements.
