Travel Nurse RN - Long-Term Care - $2,038 per week in Garrison, ND

Job Title: Long Term Care Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: LTC/SNF Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days, Every Other Weekend Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of LTC experience License: Valid RN License Required Certifications: BLS Certification Required Must-Have: LTC experience Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse to work in a Long Term Care facility. The unit has 26 beds and utilizes an electronic medical record system. The nurse will act as charge nurse, pass medications, and perform wound care. There is no clinical involvement required for this position. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:10 during the day and 1:19 at night. Common diagnoses include heart disease, diabetes, and dementia. There are no IVs or titratable drips in this unit. The facility does not have respiratory therapy on-site. Additional clinical team members, such as physical therapists and social workers, may be available as needed. Pharmacy services are off-site. Shifts are 12 hours from 7 AM to 7 PM with no blocked scheduling. Weekend requirements include working every other weekend and every other major holiday. There are no floating or call requirements for this position. Dress code requires that staff be clean and presentable. Patients may utilize oxygen concentrators as needed.
