  • Schedule: 3×12
  • Experience Required: 2 Years
  • Weekly Pay:$2050 to $2250
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
  • Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in residents' physical and mental health
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, wound care, and other prescribed treatments
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans based on resident needs
  • Monitor residents with chronic illnesses and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, social workers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as appropriate
  • Educate residents and families regarding medications, treatment plans, disease management, and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment that supports resident dignity and independence
Requirements
  • Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) nursing experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Strong knowledge of geriatric nursing, chronic disease management, medication administration, and wound care
  • Excellent assessment, communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Ability to prioritize multiple residents while maintaining high-quality patient care
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to nursing
