Travel Nurse RN - Long-Term Care - $2,237 per week in Vestal, NY

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Care Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care experience required License: Must have a valid NY State License Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Must be dependable with consistent attendance. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Organized and detail-oriented. Excellent communication skills. Personable and professional demeanor. Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultures and personalities. Team player with a positive attitude. Description: Facility is a 300-bed long-term care center. CANNOT change shift once offered. Start dates are every two weeks due to orientation schedule. Ratios: 1:18-20. Alzheimer's and dementia patient population. Every other weekend required upon center request. Must be able to pass a medication administration test and clinical observation. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and report changes in resident condition. Complete timely and accurate documentation. Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies. Supervise CNAs on assigned units. Flexibility with scheduling needs is essential. Modules must be completed 3 days prior to assignment start date. Relias modules are sent via email once an offer is accepted. Check spam/junk folder for module access. First-timers are accepted. Compliance takes 1.5-2 weeks. Any call outs must be given with ample notice, more than 24 hours prior. RTO restrictions apply only at the time of submission. Cannot take every holiday off. Candidates must complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Must have a verified reference required to submit.
