Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Waimea, HI. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to long-term care residents.
Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians.
Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
Ensure compliance with facility policies and quality standards.
Requirements:
Active Hawaii RN License
Current BLS Certification
Minimum of 1 year of recent Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Must be available to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
