LTC Registered Nurse

Description:
The Long Term Care Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in a long-term care facility.
Shifts will be either days or nights, determined by facility needs at the time of start.
The nurse will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1:20.
All caregivers are required to obtain the Food Worker Certification during orientation on-site at the facility.
This certification does not need to be completed prior to the start date.
There is a one-time fee for this certification.
Candidates should have experience in oxygen administration, peripheral line care, and isolation precautions/PPE.
To meet facility needs, the clinician may float within their scope.
Must be willing to work a block schedule.
All candidates must be willing to work during the winter holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
Housing in the area is limited, and candidates must confirm housing arrangements upon signing the contract.
All required documents must be submitted at the time of signing the contract.
References will be required covering the last three years of experience.
Travelers who have worked for the facility must have a break of at least three months before returning.
Candidates must be willing to comply with health and safety requirements, including vaccinations.
Candidates should possess the ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Candidates will need to demonstrate proficiency in specific skills related to long-term care.
