We are currently seeking an experienced Skilled Nursing Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week assignment in Glendale, CA. The ideal candidate will have prior SNF or Subacute experience and be comfortable providing comprehensive nursing care in a skilled nursing unit within an acute care hospital.
Position Details:
Specialty: Skilled Nursing Unit (LTC/SNF) RN
Location: Glendale, CA
Contract Length: 8 Weeks (With high possibility of extension)
Shift available: Days and Nights (12-Hour Shifts)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
On-Call Requirement: None
Patient Ratio: 1:5
Floating: Acute Rehab
Multiple openings available
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of RN LTC/SNF experience required
- Prior SNF or Subacute experience required
- Active California RN License required
- BLS (AHA) required
- Experience with medication administration, wound care, tracheostomy care, and IV care
- Comfortable working with pulmonary, dementia, and Alzheimer's patients
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong Skilled Nursing/Subacute nursing experience
- Experience providing wound, trach, and IV care
- Excellent patient assessment and care coordination skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary care environment
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
