Position: Unit Manager
As a Unit Manager/Director – RN, you will support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality patient care while driving positive clinical outcomes and ensuring satisfaction for patients/residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, guide, and oversee the daily operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient/resident care within the assigned unit.
- Ensure care delivery aligns with the organization’s mission, vision, values, and policies, while adhering to established clinical standards, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, rehabilitation teams, and interdisciplinary professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage human resources within the unit, including staff scheduling, minimizing overtime and agency usage, recruiting and onboarding, performance evaluations, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
