Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a facility in Weston,West Virginia. These are registry positions with our company. This order is available for both local and travel.

Local Rates:
Pay Rate: $52 / hour

Travel Rates:

Total Travel Comp = $1,246.00 (Lodging - $770.00, M&I - $476.00)

$23.18 p/h X 36Hrs = $834.48

Total Comps = $2.080.48

Job Details:
  • The individual must be on time, willing to work rotating shifts, including weekend shifts, able to work 12 hour shifts and willing to be mandated to meet the needs for the facility and requirements of the State of West Virginia.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • A valid and current RN license issued by the State of WV
  • A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
  • Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English
  • Prefer the individual to have psychiatric/ long term care knowledge and experience.
  • The candidate must have an active status with current Licensure with no actions against license, have CPR and First Aid certification from the American Heart Association.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provides general nursing care to patients.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
  • Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients.
  • Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
  • Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient.
  • May make beds, bathe, and feed patients.
  • May serve as leader for group of personnel rendering nursing care to number of patients.
  • Additional RN duties given by Supervisor.
