Job Summary:
Long Term Care (LTC) Nurse position available in Soldotna, Alaska. The role involves managing individualized, goal-directed nursing care following the nursing process and primary nursing principles in an acute care setting. The position offers rotating shifts with nights from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM and varying day shifts, within a 36-hour workweek.

Job Details:

  • Location: Soldotna, Alaska
  • Schedule: Nights from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with rotating shifts; minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, COVID-19 vaccine, one year of long-term care experience, BSN preferred
  • Certifications: BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine Required
  • Shift: Nights 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year of long-term care nursing experience required; no minimum experience specified for the current position
  • Start Date: 07/27/2026
  • Facility Notes: Client may call off up to 24 hours in a 13-week assignment with no penalty. Local placements are accepted.
  • Charting System: EPIC
  • Orientation: General and Planetree orientation required
  • Additional notes: Manages individualized nursing care using clinical databases and equipment, requiring proficiency in PC and applicable software.
