Job Summary:
The Long Term Care (LTC) registered nurse position is located in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves providing direct and indirect care to residents across multiple units, including specialized units for residents with Alzheimer's/dementia, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term care. The RN will work nights, supporting a collaborative team in a facility dedicated to delivering patient-centered care in a home-like environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Associates in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), valid State of Maine or compact RN license, 0 or more years of experience, strong teamwork and communication skills, flexibility for 24/7 coverage, ability to float to other units as needed. A combination of education and experience providing proficiency in nursing responsibilities may be accepted.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years previous RN experience, medical terminology knowledge
  • Additional Information: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the address listed. Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid. The healthcare provider reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
