Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

A Long Term Care Facility, located within a hospital environment, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to residents, including but not limited to:

• Conducting assessments and performing treatments
• Administering medications
• Notifying physicians or nurse practitioners of significant information
• Facilitating admissions and discharges
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Caring for gastrostomy tubes and urinary catheters
• Providing nebulizer and wound vac treatments
• Administering CPAP care
• Carrying out other assigned duties as necessary

Shift Information

This position offers varied shift scheduling consisting of 8-hour shifts. The shift times are:

• Days: 0730 - 1530
• Evenings: 1500 - 2330
• Nights: 2300 - 0730

Shifts may include weekends and holidays, and overtime rotation may be required. There is no guarantee of hours or shift preference.

Holiday Coverage

Holiday coverage is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification is necessary
• Candidates without an active State of HI license must apply for one upon acceptance of the offer

All candidates must possess a valid Hawaii nursing license by the start of their assignment.
