Long Term Care Registered Nurse (LTC RN)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Long Term Care Registered Nurse (LTC RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will possess flexibility in scheduling, including availability for varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and administer treatments as required.
• Administer medications and notify healthcare providers of any pertinent patient information.
• Manage the admitting and discharging processes for patients.
• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Provide specialized care, including but not limited to:
• • Gastrostomy Tube care
  • Urinary catheter care
  • Nebulized treatments
  • Wound Vac care
  • CPAP care
  • Tracheostomy care
• Complete other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Hawaii is required prior to the start of the assignment.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a long-term care or similar setting.
• Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Information:

This position requires holiday coverage, and candidates must be adaptable to varying schedules and work demands.
