The role includes performing assessments, treatments, medication administration, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes across varied shifts.
Job Details
Position Description: Long Term Care Nurse responsible for assessments, treatments, medication administration, notification of pertinent information to MD/NP, admitting and discharging patients, providing ADL assistance, gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulizer treatments, wound vac care, CPAP care, and other duties as assigned.
Certifications, Education Requirements, and Experience: Hawaii License (must be obtained prior to start if not currently held), 0 years minimum experience, and ability to work varied 8-hour shifts including weekends and holidays.
Schedule: Rotating shift schedule with 8-hour shifts: Days 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM, Evenings 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Nights 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM, including weekends and holidays, with possible overtime rotation.
Additional Information: Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment; start date cannot be accepted if attendance is not possible. No guarantee of hours or shift preference.
