Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Summary: The Registered Nurse position in a long-term care environment plays a vital role in supporting day-to-day nursing activities, ensuring accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare.

Essential Job Duties:

• Communicate timely with physicians, families, and other stakeholders regarding significant changes in resident conditions.
• Complete all necessary resident assessments.
• Administer medications while adhering to the "5 Rights."
• Perform wound care and assessments as needed.
• Assist certified nursing assistants (CNAs) by responding to call lights.
• Monitor residents for changes in their conditions.
• Act as a leader on the floor by assessing situations and directing care as necessary.
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
• Maintain accurate resident records with thorough and precise charting.
• Perform additional duties as requested.

Required Qualifications:

• Two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree preferred.
• Must hold and maintain a Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Preferred: 1+ years of related work experience.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are necessary.
