Job Description

The Manager of Operations for the Operating Room is responsible for overseeing the daily functionalities of the surgical department, ensuring optimal workflow and compliance with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Staff Leadership: Supervise and manage the hiring, training, and development of nursing staff, surgical technicians, and support personnel.
• Operations & Scheduling: Coordinate daily assignments and manage the efficiency of surgical room operations.
• Budget Management: Oversee the financial performance of the department, including supply purchasing and resource allocation.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, infection control protocols, and standards for sterile processing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Operating Room management role.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Active state license in Michigan at the time of application.
