Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current Mother/Baby, Postpartum, or Maternity Nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience providing compassionate, family-centered patient care
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, positive approach
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced maternity and newborn care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality postpartum nursing care and newborn care to mother/baby couplets
• Monitor patient recovery and support safe transitions after delivery
• Assist with newborn testing, circumcisions, staple removal, and routine mother/baby care
• Deliver patient education, discharge support, and emotional support to families throughout the postpartum stay
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a safe, organized, and compassionate unit environment
• Document care accurately using unit charting systems and follow established clinical policies
