Registered Nurse (RN) - Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialty in Mother-Baby, Couplet Care, and Post Partum to join our team. This position involves working 36 hours a week on a night shift schedule, specifically three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum and antepartum patients.
• Float to different units within the skill set, including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), as needed, to care for level II nursery patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements during patient care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training initiatives.
• Handle every other weekend (Friday and Saturday) and every other holiday duty.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.
• Ability to submit with a pending Virginia RN license.
• Proficiency in using Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
