Job Title: Travel Mother Baby / Postpartum Registered Nurse
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Travel Mother Baby / Postpartum Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This position is ideal for an RN with strong postpartum and newborn care experience who is comfortable caring for both mothers and infants in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Mother Baby/Postpartum RN experience
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- Active State RN License
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Must be willing to float to NICU or Labor & Delivery as needed
- Weekend shifts required based on staffing needs
Required Clinical Skills:
- Blood and blood product administration
- Post-operative OB/GYN care
- Post-vaginal delivery care
- Normal newborn care, including thermoregulation and glucose management
- Management of epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vacs
- Administration of high-risk medications, including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
