Job Requirements

• 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submittal
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to care for adult patients with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Strong clinical skills in telemetry, stroke care, and neurological assessment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult medical-surgical and neurological patients
• Monitor patients using telemetry and pulse oximetry for changes in condition
• Care for patients with stroke, TIA, seizure disorders, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological diagnoses
• Perform ongoing assessments, administer treatments, and coordinate individualized care plans
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support recovery and positive patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in Epic while maintaining safe and efficient workflow during night shifts
• Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate concerns appropriately
