Job Summary:
Cardiology and Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position available at a healthcare facility in the Birmingham area. The role involves providing patient care on a cardiac and medical surgical floor, with a focus on patients undergoing or recovering from heart-related procedures and general medical conditions. The position offers the opportunity to work within a reputable organization committed to quality and compassionate care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, 2 years of experience in Medsurge or Cardiology specialties, located within the state, and certification standards met.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with acute care skills, including pre and post-heart catheterization, general cardiology, and Medsurge.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with cardiac and general medical conditions, ensure adherence to SOPs, and maintain high standards of patient safety and comfort.
