Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) position located in Waco, Texas. The role involves providing direct nursing care on a 15-bed Neuro/Ortho unit, following established policies, procedures, and protocols. The nurse will implement and monitor patient care plans, assess patient conditions, and coordinate discharge planning within a fast-paced healthcare environment, working with minimal supervision.

Job Details:

• Position: Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) on a Neuro/Ortho unit
• Location: Waco, Texas
• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts

• Required Qualifications: Certifications, education, or degrees relevant to nursing, with at least 1 year of experience; must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Texas
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience on a Neuro/Ortho unit is highly desirable
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Provides direct patient care, communicates effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and participates in discharge planning and patient education. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and demonstrate critical thinking and decisive judgment.
