Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Neuro/Ortho Unit [Location]
This position involves providing direct nursing care within a 15-bed Neuro/Ortho unit. The role includes implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating patient care, and communicating patient conditions effectively to the healthcare team. The nurse will serve as a primary coordinator for well-coordinated patient care and support discharge planning.

Job Details:

• Position Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
• Unit Description: 15 bed Neuro/Ortho unit; Navy or maroon scrubs; Epic charting.
