• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; 3x12s preferred, with 4x12s considered
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Start Date: 3 weeks from offer
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570 - $1,650

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Experience managing patient ratios of 1:6 or 1:7 preferred; higher ratio experience is strongly valued
• BLS certification required
• Telemetry experience required
• IV start experience required
• Oncology nursing experience highly preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred; familiarity with Soarian is a plus
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Minimal time off requested; holiday flexibility may be needed
• Royal blue scrubs required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care as a Med/Surg Registered Nurse on an oncology-focused unit
• Monitor telemetry, assess patient status, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Perform IV starts and support routine clinical interventions as needed
• Care for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Document accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, compassionate patient outcomes
• Adapt to a fast-paced acute care environment while delivering excellent patient care
• Follow unit expectations for scheduling, weekend coverage, and compliance requirements
