Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active RN license and eligibility to work in the assigned state
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS preferred
• Burn care experience preferred
• Wound care and ostomy care experience preferred
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg patients with a focus on safety, quality, and compassion
• Perform wound care and dressing changes for post-op burn and flap patients
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive outcomes
• Assist with common unit equipment and therapeutic devices as needed
• Document nursing care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture
