Job Summary Medical Surgical (MS) RN Located in the Portland metropolitan area. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care on a Medical Surgical floor within a short-term acute care facility. The role requires flexibility to float between units, with a focus on adult patient care.
Job Details
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS certification; valid state license; at least 1 year of clinical experience as a Medical Surgical registered nurse.
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include utilizing skills such as use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care/management, oxygen administration, starting and maintaining IVs, management of cardiac drips, blood product administration, and other critical nursing tasks.
The role involves working in an interdisciplinary team that includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and radiology.
Candidates should be prepared to float to other units as needed and adhere to all safety and clinical protocols.
